The 2010 Derby Feste, organised by Deda, the Quad and Derby Live, is set to return to the streets between the 24th to the 26th September 2010.

The three-day spectacular will combine local and international artists providing an almighty array of scintillating performances designed to entertain and wow the eager Derby crowd.

Over previous years, the entertainment has ranged from the procession of giant monsters and fire breathing dragons, acrobatics and aerialist's, live bands and street parties.

Each year has a particular theme and 2010 promises to be another corker with Colour and Light being the prevailing theme to whet the appetite.

Friday 24th September 2010 starts with what promises to be a spectacular Luminarium on the Cathedral Green. This is followed the same night by an open air disco in the Derby Marketplace.

Saturday 25th 2010 climaxes with a much-anticipated pyrotechnics and percussion act Les Commandos Percu. This takes place on the Bass Recreation Ground (assuming the gypsies have been moved on) and their choreographed music and dance performance should keep everybody transfixed.

This FREE event is very good value and attracts visitors from surrounding counties.
