The 10th Derby CAMRA Winter Beer Festival will run from Thursday 24th - Saturday 26th February 2011!

This event is organised by the Campaign For Real Ale CAMRA. This years winter beer festival will be relocating to Derby College’s new engineering campus at the Roundhouse which is located adjacent to Derby’s railway station which is a short walk from the City centre. If you walk along Siddles Road, you will pass the Alexandra Hotel (home of Derby CAMRA) and the Brunswick Inn - both well worth stopping for a visit.

However, if walking is not your thing, there will be a frequent shuttle bus service operating from the Derby Market Place at approximately 15 minute intervals directly to the festival.


Opening times are as follows:

Thursday 24th February 2011, 1630 – 2300, entrance fee £4.00

Friday 25th February 2011, 1100 – 2300, entrance fee £2.00 before 1700 and £5.00 after 1700.

Saturday 26th February 2011, 1100 – 2300, entrance fee £2.00 before 1700 and £5.00 after 1700.

There is Free Admission during the festival for valid CAMRA card carrying members and anybody under the age of 26 as long as they can prove with a valid photo ID.

Festival glasses can be hired at the event or purchased for £2.50.

The aim of the Derby Winter Beer Festival organisers is to have around 170 ales on offer with a supplementary selection of cider, perry, continental beers, wine and soft drinks.

Definitely maybe - Oasis tribute band but without the squabbling (hopefully)

Adored - Stone Roses tribute band
