The Holly Bush Beer Festival 2011 24th -27th March 2011

Noted for hosting beer festivals throughout the year, the infamous Holly Bush Inn in Makeney, Derbyshire, is holding the Spring Beer Festival on the 24^th - 27^th March 2011.

This character pub, renown for it's history of selling quality ales and pork pies, dates back from the 17th century and boasts that Dick Turpin was an occasional visitor - no doubt requesting that barmaids stand and deliver his pint full to the brim.

The festival can get very congested on a Friday and Saturday evening with beers quickly running out so it is recommended that if visiting for a quiet session, try a lunchtime.
