The 2011 Rail Ale Beer Festival takes place at the
Barrow Hill Roundhouse on 13th and 14th May 2011 - one of the most atmospheric festivals in the UK.
With over 150 varying Real Ales and a good selection of Cider and Perry, there is plenty to sample. If previous
years are anything to go by, quality is quite good also.
Also available are a selrction of fruit wines, continental bottled beers and soft drinks for the unfortunate
driver. Gluten-free beer will also be available.
Entrance to the festival is £6.00 advance or £7.50 on the gate. Price includes a commemorative glass and
unlimited train rides from the station halt. Train rides commence at 12.00 and finish at 17.00 both days.
Opening times are 12 noon to 23.00 both days with entertainment scheduled throughout the sessions.
Hot food and sandwiches are available.
