The Good Beer Guide 2012

An essential book to complement the Derby Beer Festival is the 2012 Good Beer Guide. 

This annual book is published by the Campaign For Real Ale (CAMRA) and details a selection of pubs from around the country that have been voted as purveyors of fine ale. The section on Derbyshire and Pubs in Derby is of particular interest to this reviewer.

The criteria, however, also includes the ambience of an establishment.

All regularly brewed beers in the UK from breweries with tasting notes and original gravity (strength)
Regional Sections containing Pubs in your area that have been voted as being worthy of inclusive by local beer experts

Food availability
Accommodation if applicable
Specific features such as open fires, snugs etc.

Types of pub include both town centre, suburban and countryside pubs.
