On entering the bar, you have the main seating area with an inviting open fire in winter. There is a
selection of seating including high-tables and stools. The rear of the pub opens out to an expanse of seating
leading to patio doors and an outside seating area. There is also a handy mezzanine floor with upstairs
seating.
Toilets are clean and well maintained.
The food is usually very good and although some of the prices (though not all) may look a little high, the
portion sizes make up for it.
The staff are mainly young, energetic and keen to provided a good service.
Although the pub can get a little busy on a Friday/Saturday evening, this pub is highly recommended,
particularly as there is free street parking opposite after 6pm Mon - Sat (4pm Sun).
